This notice explains how AVB RaceLabs, a trading name of Stride Innovations Limited, uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser and device storage. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
1. The short version
- Strictly necessary storage keeps the site and portal working. It is always on.
- Analytics cookies help us see which pages are useful. They are on unless you turn them off, and one click switches them off.
- We use no advertising cookies and do no cross-site tracking, anywhere.
- You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer, or on our opt-out page.
2. Our website (https://avbracelabs.com)
| Name | Category | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
avb.cookie-consent (browser storage) |
Strictly necessary | Remembers that you accepted analytics, so we don't ask again | Until you turn analytics off or clear your browser storage |
avb.analytics-off (session storage) |
Strictly necessary | Remembers that you turned analytics off, for the rest of your visit | Until you close the browser tab |
_ga |
Analytics (on unless you opt out) | Set by our web analytics provider to tell one visitor's visits apart from another's, without identifying you by name | 2 years |
_ga_<id> |
Analytics (on unless you opt out) | Set by our web analytics provider to keep the state of your current visit | 2 years |
Unless you opt out, our web analytics provider receives the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Advertising features and data sharing for advertising are switched off. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
The contact form and early-access form set no cookies.
3. Our web portal (https://portal.avbracelabs.com)
| Name | Category | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in cookies | Strictly necessary | Keep you signed in securely | Up to 14 days, renewed while you use the portal |
| Language cookie | Strictly necessary | Remembers the language you chose | 1 year |
| Browser storage | Strictly necessary | Remembers preferences such as your selected track | Until you clear it |
The portal does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
4. Our apps
The iPhone, iPad and Android apps do not use cookies. They store your sign-in securely on your phone, along with your Pit Kit data and preferences, so they work offline. If the app crashes, it sends a crash report as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your choices
- Cookie settings: use the banner, or the link in the footer of any page, to turn analytics off or back on at any time. If you turn analytics off, we remove the analytics cookies we can reach and stop measuring you for the rest of your visit. The next time you come to the site the notice shows again, because we do not keep a record of visitors who declined.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we switch analytics off for you automatically.
- Your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site or portal working.
6. Changes and contact
We will update this notice when what we store changes, and post the new version here with a new date. Questions: use our contact form and choose Privacy and my data.
