This page explains how to delete your account for AVB RaceLabs, the karting app for iPhone, iPad and Android, and its web portal, provided by Stride Innovations Limited.
1. In the app
- Open AVB RaceLabs and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
2. In the web portal
- Sign in at https://portal.avbracelabs.com.
- Open Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
3. Without the app
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, use our contact form and choose Delete my account. Send it from the email address on your account, or tell us that address. We will confirm it is your account before deleting it, and reply within one month.
If you bought a plan through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there as well: deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
4. What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, and it leaves our backups within a further 30 days. This includes:
- your account and driver profile, karts, setups and profile photo;
- your sessions, lap times and imported data-logger files;
- your Pit Kit data saved to your account;
- your tyre records and tyre photos;
- your AI Race Engineer conversations and AI request records;
- your plan and preferences.
5. What is kept, and for how long
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your name in a team's membership history, and charges, invoices and payments a team recorded | They are the team's records | As set out in section 8 of our Privacy Policy |
| Financial records for paid plans | UK tax law | 6 years |
| Support messages | To show how we handled your request | Up to 2 years after it was closed |
| Technical logs | Security | Up to 30 days |
Data stored on your phone, such as Pit Kit entries, stays on your phone until you delete it or uninstall the app.
6. Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can delete individual sessions, tyre inspections, Pit Kit entries and AI conversations in the app at any time. To ask us to delete other specific data, use the contact form.
