Every call,
step by step.
Real race-weekend jobs, walked through in the app and the portal: from your first setup to running a whole team.
Start with your role
Getting started
3 guides
Set up your account, driver profile and kart in a few minutes.
Create your account and sign in
Create your AVB RaceLabs account, answer the age and Terms step, and turn on biometric sign-in so you stay signed in at circuits with poor signal.
Set up your profile and first kart
Work through the setup wizard so gearing, ballast and tyre pressure advice use your real weight, class, engine and ballast, not generic guesses.
Find your way around the app
A quick tour of the five tabs, the Home cards, Profile and settings, so you can find every tool fast and arrange Home the way you want for race day.
Race weekend
6 guides
Use the engineering calls on the day: tyres, gearing, setup, ballast and weather.
Plan a session at a new track
Add a session to your planner with the track, date, time and kart, so weather, tyre, gearing and ballast advice is worked out for that exact slot.
Check track weather and grip before you run
Read the track temperature, rain risk and grip estimate for your session slot, so you can choose tyres, pressures and setup with the conditions in mind.
Set cold tyre pressures for a session
Get a cold starting pressure for each corner so your tyres reach the hot target after a few laps, then check afterwards how close you really were.
Choose a sprocket for a new track
Get a recommended rear sprocket for a circuit you haven't raced, see why it was chosen, and work out what one tooth either way would change.
Weigh in and set ballast
Work out how much lead to add to reach your class minimum weight, where to start fitting it, and how to get through scrutineering first time.
Debrief a session in 30 seconds
Log hot tyre pressures and how the kart felt straight after a session, so your next pressure advice is based on what your own tyres really did.
AI Race Engineer
2 guides
Ask why, read the AI insights and check tyre condition from photos.
Ask the AI Race Engineer about a session
Ask plain questions about one planned session, such as whether to run softer tyres, and get answers based on its track, weather, tyres, gearing and setup.
Check tyre condition with a durometer and photos
Record durometer readings and wear photos for each kart tyre, then use the scores to decide which sets to race, keep for practice or replace.
Pit Kit
2 guides
Offline calculators, checklists and season journals for the paddock.
Plan a race weekend with the Pit Kit
Keep entry deadlines, tyre orders, packing and the scrutineering walk for each race meeting in one place on your phone, even with no signal at the circuit.
Log engine hours and know when to rebuild
Log run time after every session, watch the top-end and bottom-end rebuild countdowns, and keep every job, spare part and cost in one tidy record.
Teams
4 guides
Run a team, join one, and keep entries, kit and money in order.
Start a team and invite drivers
Found your karting team in AVB RaceLabs, pick a permanent team tag, choose or skip a team plan, and bring each of your drivers onto the roster.
Join a team and book your sessions
Join your karting team with its tag, check the race calendar and your entry, commit to practice dates and approve workshop quotes in the app.
Add a parent to the team and link them to a driver
Put a young driver's mum or dad on your team roster as a Parent, linked to their driver, without using up one of the driver places on your team plan.
Invoice drivers and record payments
Turn session fees, hire, storage and workshop work into team invoices on the web portal, and let drivers see what they owe and tell you they've paid.
Web portal
2 guides
The big-screen view for planning and review at home.
Use the web portal at home
Sign in to the AVB RaceLabs web portal after a race day to engineer sessions on a bigger screen, test what-if changes and catch up on your Pit Kit.
Manage karts, engines, tyres and setups on the web
Record every kart, engine, tyre set and setup sheet on the AVB RaceLabs web portal, so each recommendation in the app uses the right kart and setup.
Account and privacy
3 guides
Plans, settings, your data and deleting your account.
Choose the right plan
Compare Free, Premium and Pro with AI, see the Pit Kit limits on Free, and switch plans in the app or on the web portal without surprises at the track.
Delete your account and data
Know the difference between signing out, forgetting a device and deleting your account, and remove your AVB RaceLabs data from the app or the web portal.
Turn AI features on or off
See exactly what data the AI features send, switch them on with one tap in the app or on the portal, and turn them off again whenever you choose.
