Join a team and book your sessions

Your team manager has sent you the team tag. You want to get on the roster, see which meetings you are entered for, book a place on next month's practice days, and keep an eye on work being done on your kart. Everything here happens in the MY TEAM card on the Home tab.

Before you start

• Your own AVB RaceLabs account. You can join a team on any personal plan.
• The team tag from your manager.
• A signal. Team screens load from your account, so check them before you lose reception at the circuit.

Join the team

1. On the Home tab, tap the MY TEAM card.
2. Under Find your team, type the tag into Team tag and tap Find.
3. Check the preview shows the right manager ("Managed by "), then tap Request to join. You see "Request sent — your manager will review it."
4. Your request now shows the status: Pending, Approved, Declined or Cancelled. You'll join automatically once your manager approves.

If your manager invited you instead, the invite appears under Invitations on the same screen. Tap Accept or Decline.

Find your way around My Team

Once you are in, My Team shows these cards: Team, Next event, Premium for team members, Team-mates, Programme, Money, Workshop, My kit and My rentals, with Leave team at the bottom.

Check a race meeting

1. On Next event, tap Open the meeting, or tap Season calendar to see every meeting.
2. Look at My entry. It reads Not entered, Entered, Confirmed or Withdrawn, with your class, kart, race number, transponder and entry fee. Your manager adds entries. If you expect to race and see Not entered, ask them.
3. Under Are you racing this one?, tap I'm racing or Can't make it.

If the meeting has an entry fee, the app shows it. Confirming commits you to that fee. It goes on your team account, and there is nothing to pay in the app.

My tyres shows how many meetings you have used on your issued set, out of those allowed. Running order shows the session plan with your row marked YOU. Lap times are not shown there: they stay with the driver who set them.

Book practice and test days

1. On Programme, tap Browse dates.
2. Open a date to see its cost, spaces and the Commit by deadline.
3. Tap Commit. The confirmation shows the cost, and your manager approves the request.
4. If the session is full, tap Join waitlist instead. You see your waitlist position.
5. Tap My commitments to see everything you have booked and its status, such as Requested, Confirmed or Waitlisted.

To drop a date, open it and tap Request cancellation. The app shows any cancellation fee before you confirm. Your manager reviews cancellations, and you keep your place until they approve it.

Approve work on your kart

1. On Workshop, tap My jobs. Quotes waiting for you are pinned to the top.
2. Open a quote and read What's included: the parts and labour with the Quoted total.
3. Tap Approve, or Decline and give a reason so the team can adjust it.

Work starts once you approve. Nothing is charged before then. Only the driver the job is for can approve or decline it.

To buy a part from the team, tap Parts, tap Buy next to the part, set the Quantity and tap Request to buy. Your manager confirms the sale before anything is charged.

Good to know: If you are under 18, talk to your parent or guardian before approving quotes or committing to paid dates. The charges go on your account.

Premium through your team

My Team has a Premium for team members card. It is only open when your team has an active team plan. Tap Ask for it (the button shows the monthly price). Your manager approves the request, and you pay for the plan yourself. Nothing starts or is charged until they approve. While you wait you can tap Withdraw request. Once it is running, Cancel my plan ends it at the end of the month.

Leaving the team

Tap Leave team at the bottom of My Team and confirm. You lose access to the team area, but your own data stays yours. Any team member plan keeps working to the end of the month, then ends.
