Kart Toolbox Checklist

Toolbox Builder is a packing checklist for your kart's toolbox. Pick one of seven kart types and you get a 16-item universal kit plus the tools that engine needs, and you can add your own items. Critical items control a GO / NO-GO pill, and every saved run is dated.

Custom extras for 1 kart type on Free (Premium: unlimited)

Toolbox Builder is the toolbox checklist in the AVB RaceLabs Pit Kit. Choose your Kart type: IAME X30, Rotax Max, Cadet GX200, KZ shifter, Vortex ROK, Rental / 4-stroke or Electric. The list then has three sections: Universal kit (16 items, from the 8–19 mm socket set and T-handle allen keys to the tyre pressure gauge, kart stand and fuel jug), the extras for your kart type, and Your extras.

The engine-specific section is the part people usually forget. X30 adds a plug socket with spare NGK plugs, a clutch puller, a charged starter battery, Tillotson diaphragms and a 219 chain breaker. Rotax adds the Dellorto jet kit and coolant. Cadet GX200 adds 4-stroke oil, recoil starter spares and feeler gauges. Electric adds charged battery packs, the charger and insulated tools. Forgetting the plug socket or the charger can finish your day before practice starts.

Tick items as you load the van. A counter shows how many are ticked, and the GO / NO-GO pill turns GO only when every critical item is ticked. Critical items are marked with an exclamation icon. Save the run (Save — all items ticked, Save — critical items ticked, or Save anyway) and it is added to Saved runs with the kart type, ticked count, date and a GO or NO-GO icon, as a record that the box was packed. Switching kart type clears the ticks. The in-app note reminds you that these are starter lists and your engine builder's spec sheet takes priority.

Everything works offline on the phone. Saving runs is unlimited. On Free you can add your own extra items for 1 kart type. Premium lifts that limit and adds PitSync cloud backup.

Questions

What tools do I need for a karting race day?
Toolbox Builder's universal kit includes a socket and spanner set (8–19 mm), T-handle allen keys, screwdrivers, pliers, a torque wrench, a tyre pressure gauge, a pump, chain lube, spare nuts and bolts, axle tools, a kart stand and a fuel jug. It then adds the tools your engine needs.
Is there a tool list for Rotax or X30 karts?
Yes. Choose Rotax Max or IAME X30, or Cadet GX200, KZ shifter, Vortex ROK, Rental / 4-stroke or Electric, and the extras for that engine are added to the list.
What makes the checklist show GO?
The pill turns GO when every critical item is ticked, such as the socket set, allen keys, pressure gauge, pump, chain lube, stand, fuel jug and the essential engine items. Other items count towards the ticked total but do not block GO.
