Racecraft Library is a set of karting racecraft cards for the driver, and for the parent or coach working with them. It holds nine hand-written cards in five categories. Starts covers rolling start basics and first-lap survival. Overtaking covers the switchback (cross-over) and the inside lunge, done properly. Defending covers holding position without losing time. Wet driving covers the wet line. Practice drills covers a brake-point walking drill, a consistency ladder and follow-the-leader.
Why it matters: lap time is only part of a race result. Starts, lap one and wheel-to-wheel judgement decide positions, and they are hard to learn from timing sheets. The cards put the reasoning into plain steps, such as setting a lunge up on the exit of the previous corner, or driving a car-width outside the dry line in the rain.
Each card opens to show its aim and numbered How to drive it steps, and most add Common faults & fixes, so the usual mistake comes with its cure. The drills carry time budgets of about 15 to 20 minutes, sized for real practice days; pick two per session, not ten. Two point to other Pit Kit tools: the brake-point drill banks the result in Track Notes, and the consistency ladder uses the Stopwatch tool's σ readout to keep ten laps within 0.3 s of your average, then tighter.
Search across every card or filter by category. The cards ship with the app and work offline. They are best read aloud between driver and coach or parent before a session, not after it.
