Choose the right plan

You have been using AVB RaceLabs for a few weeks. Before the season gets busy you want to know what Free covers, what Premium and Pro with AI add, and how to switch. The last thing you want is to hit a limit in the paddock on race morning.

Before you start

• An AVB RaceLabs account.
• A connection, because switching plans happens on the server.

What each plan includes

Free

• Tracks, sessions and session-window weather.
• The engine, tyre, chassis and track research catalogues.
• Every Pit Kit tool, working offline on your phone, with limits on the journals.
• The full mobile app.

Free does not include the Intelligence tab (the engineering baselines), Pit Kit cloud sync or the web portal.

Premium

• Everything in Free.
• Engineering baselines for tyres, gears, chassis, grip and setup, in the Intelligence tab.
• Pit Kit cloud sync, with every limit lifted and restore onto another device.
• Web portal access.
• Priority support.

Pro with AI

Marked Recommended on the plans screen.

• Everything in Premium.
• AI Race Engineer chat, with a fair-use limit of 150 asks a day.
• AI insights on every engineering card.
• The AI Tyre Condition reader, which assesses wear and compound health from photos.

The Pit Kit limits on Free

On Free, each journal holds a set number of entries:

Tools not in the table, such as the calculators, checklists and libraries, have no limit.

A limit only stops you adding a new entry. You can always open, edit and delete what you already have. When you reach one, you see You have reached the free limit for this tool, with See plans and Not now.

Tip: Check the table against your season before the first round. Four race weekends and two engines will not fit on Free, so decide at home rather than at the track.

Switch plans in the app

1. On Home, tap the person icon to open Profile.
2. On the SUBSCRIPTION card, tap Compare plans or Upgrade. Plans & Pricing opens. Any See plans button in the app opens the same screen.
3. Scroll to Compare every feature if you want the side-by-side view.
4. On the plan you want, tap Switch to this plan.
5. Read the summary, then tap Confirm. Tap Not now to change your mind.
6. If the message at the bottom of the screen asks you to, sign out and back in so the new plan applies everywhere in the app.

What happens next depends on the direction:

• Upgrade: the new plan starts straight away.
• Downgrade: usually you keep your current plan until the date shown, then the change takes effect. The confirmation tells you which date applies before you tap Confirm.

Good to know: Self-serve checkout is not available yet, so the app does not ask for a card when you switch.

Reading your plan

Your current plan is shown on the SUBSCRIPTION card in Profile. When your plan includes the AI tools, the card also shows AI Active. On Plans & Pricing, your plan's button reads Current plan.

Plans for team members

If your team is on a team plan (Crew, Team or Works), you may be offered a team member plan. It gives you Premium at a lower price while you are in that team.

1. On Home, open the MY TEAM card.
2. On Premium for team members, ask for the plan.
3. Your manager approves it. Nothing starts until they do.

It is your own plan: you pay for it yourself, and you can cancel it. Your manager never pays for it. If you want the AI tools too, open Plans & Pricing and tap Add the AI top-up to get Pro with AI.

Team plans themselves are for running a team, not for AI. A team plan does not include the AI tools.

Do it on the web portal

1. Sign in at portal.avbracelabs.com.
2. Go to Profile and select Compare plans. You can also go straight to the upgrade page.
3. Choose Switch to this plan on the plan you want, then Confirm.
4. After an upgrade you are taken through sign-in again so the new plan applies.

The portal is for Premium and Pro with AI. On Free, most portal pages send you to the plans page, and you use the mobile app instead. Your Profile page and your team's pages still open on Free.
