Kit Expiry keeps track of the dates that can end your weekend before it starts. Add each item with its kind (Helmet, Race suit, Gloves, Boots, Race licence, Medical, Transponder sub or Other), a name such as "Arai CK-6 — Snell CMR2016", its expiry date and an optional note. A name and a date are both required, so nothing goes on the list without a date to track.
Why it matters at the track: helmet standards stop being accepted, suit homologations run out, licences and medicals need renewing and transponder subscriptions lapse. None of it is hard to sort a month out. All of it is a problem at kit check or sign-on on the morning of a race.
Every item gets a status pill. Green reads OK, amber reads Due soon once the date is inside 60 days, and red reads Expired, with the line showing the date it ran out. The list is sorted soonest first, so whatever needs attention next is at the top. When you renew, tap the item and change the date; there is no need to delete it and start again. Expiry dates also show in the app's calendar.
Everything is stored on the phone and works with no signal, so you can check the list in the paddock queue. Kit Expiry is free with no cap on the number of items. On Premium, PitSync backs the list up to the cloud and restores it on a new phone.
